SoftHouse values your privacy and provides a clear process to request the deletion of your account and any associated data, including data obtained from third-party social logins like Google and Meta (Facebook, Instagram).
How to Delete Your Data
If you wish to delete your account and all associated data, you have the following options:
- Option 1 (In-App): Login to your SoftHouse account, navigate to your Account Settings, select "Privacy", and click the "Delete My Account" button. Your data will be permanently deleted within 30 days.
- Option 2 (Direct Request): Contact our support team directly by emailing info@softhouseit.com with the subject line "Account Deletion Request". Please include the email address associated with your account. We will process your request within 7 business days.
Meta (Facebook/Instagram) Data Deletion
If you logged into our application using your Facebook or Instagram account, you can remove our application's access and request deletion of the retrieved data by following these steps:
- Go to your Facebook account's Settings & Privacy > Settings.
- Navigate to Apps and Websites.
- Find "SoftHouse" in the list of active apps and click Remove.
- Follow the prompts to completely remove the connection. Once disconnected, we will automatically schedule your associated data for deletion in accordance with our retention policy.
Google Data Deletion
If you connected your Google account, you can revoke our access by visiting your Google Account's Security settings, navigating to Third-party apps with account access, selecting SoftHouse, and clicking Remove Access.
What Data is Deleted?
Upon your request, we will delete your profile data, email address, connection history, and any tokens or authorized data received from social login providers. Some transactional data may be retained for accounting and legal compliance as required by local Egyptian laws.
